SUNRIDGE POTTERY

Contemporary Ceramics handcrafted by potters Frank Willett and Luisa Baldinger in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Inspired by the colors and grand vistas of the Southwest landscape, Sunridge Pottery is our collaborative work in white stoneware featuring the landscape designs hand-painted by Luisa. The wheel-thrown work is Frank’s; Luisa’s work are the slab pieces and the on-glaze landscape painting.

A choice of two landscape motifs is available on any of the pieces we make in the Sunridge Pottery line: “Jemez”, inspired by our view of the Jemez Mountains from our studio window, and “Abiquiu”, inspired by the pink, red, and orange cliffs near Abiquiu, New Mexico.

The clay is a high fired stoneware; the glaze durable and beautiful. The pottery is lead free, dishwasher safe, and microwaveable. Do not take it from the refrigerator directly to a hot oven without first letting it come to room temperature, nor use it directly over a burner. We recommend placing your serving/cooking piece in a cold oven before setting the temperature. Given reasonable care, this pottery should bring lasting pleasure with continued use.
